Viive‘s debut album Sen Jälkeen Kun, which has been well-received, is now getting its first remixes! Two tracks from the album have been reworked into drum’n’bass steppers by Park Shadow & Kimik.

Park Shadow and Kimik are both long-term local DJs and producers from Tampere, Finland. They have been DJing and producing since the 90s, working across the full spectrum of electronic music in various projects, both locally and internationally. Now, they have prepared us tasty drum’n’bass takes on two tracks from Viive‘s debut album Sen Jälkeen Kun.

Viive – Tulva (Park Shadow Remix)

Park Shadow’s remix transforms Tulva into a dark journey accompanied by deep basslines and intense atmosphere, where piano and trumpet light the way.

Viive – On Tullut Aika (Kimik Remix)

In contrast, Kimik’s remix of On Tullut Aika brightens the mood with energetic rhythms and an unexpected spoken word segment in Finnish, creating a refreshing and innovative sound.
